Gary Wohlman
Dr Gary Wohlman has devoted his life to transforming people's bodies, minds and lives - integrating 50 years of experience as an innovative body therapist with a wild, adventurous and multi-dimensional approach to life.
Having created his own somatic trauma release system entitled “The Wohlman Method for the Whole Person”, which has been government endorsed by the Department of Education & Training in Australia, he speaks in rhyme - like Dr Seuss - while stretching corresponding muscles at the same time, guiding his clients on a deep inner journey and vision quest to re-set their self-talk and reach new levels of fulfilment in their bodies, relationships, communication, creativity and contribution to humanity.
Having spent much of his adult life moving westward - from NYC thru California, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, Bali and Thailand, he has become adept in travelling into unknown territories - now serving as a guide to liberate fellow souls from clinging to rigid, familiar patterns and navigate fresh frontiers within their own psyche.
Through decades of specialising as a multi-sensory body therapist, Dr Gary identifies with being an "archaeologist of the soul," freeing layers of stored physical, emotional and creative energies buried in the landscape of our body – our chief instrument of communication.
Integrating his expertise with the body with his other skills as presentation coach and professional court jester, these days he likes the nickname G.E.M., an acronym which brings together the personas of Gary, Elijah & Merlin - three of his favourite names in this lifetime.
As "The Presentation Doctor" and Speaker's Mentor, he offers engaging participatory presentations, individual and group sessions and workshops on "Speaking from the Heart - Transforming Your Message with your BODY & VOICE," and “Awakening Creativity.”
As transformational artist & creativity evocateur, G.E.M. has led retreats all over the world, bringing together his eclectic life experiences in the healing, visual and performing arts - providing pioneering pathways for people to awaken their greatest calling in this life.
His refreshing, outrageously playful and engaging audience-participatory style creates a safe, supportive atmosphere through which participants easily awaken authenticity and move forward to embody their most passionate purpose.
Both face-to-face and online, Dr Gary provides tangible teaching tools to bring people's voice, message and messaging out into the world as they've dreamed possible - and enhance the full-bodied engagement and interactive impact of their live and recorded presentations, both personally and professionally, in and on all stages of their life.
