Medicine Man Apprentice

His approach is rooted in a deep commitment to being a lifelong student, continuously expanding upon the knowledge and experiences he has gathered. As he often says, "I seek to be a true teacher when the time is right." Over the years, he has encountered many healers, shamans, and gurus who speak of wisdom but do not always embody it with full authenticity. His intention, always, is to "walk the talk" — to live with integrity and be as authentic as possible. His goal is for every fiber of his being to contribute to creating greater harmony among humanity, all living beings, and Mother Earth.

"Being a Native American Medicine Man or Woman is not simply a role passed down out of desire or convenience. It is a responsibility that must be earned, often driven by a deep sense of purpose rather than want or need. I am grateful to carry on this responsibility through my father's lineage, and I strive to be the best version of myself in this role. My goal is to understand the diverse perspectives, knowledge, and healing practices from cultures around the world. This broader understanding will enable me to better serve and connect with those who are interested in what I have to offer or what I represent."

For now, he is content being the student, soaking up all the knowledge and experiences like a sponge. His focus is on learning so that when the time comes, he will be ready — with full fluency and transparency — to step into the role of teacher that his soul was born to fulfill.

A Workshop on the Power and Essence of the Native American Drum and Flute: Cherokee Perspectives

In this transformative workshop, explore how the Cherokee people understood the profound power and essence of the Native American drum and flute. Delve into the duality of these instruments and their unity as a holistic force, and learn how they influence the body, mind, and spirit. By blending ancient wisdom with modern science, you will uncover deeper insights into how these sacred instruments facilitate healing and connection.

Led by EagleDancer, who has been training since the age of 8 under the guidance of his father, Bobby Runningfox (a respected Native American Medicine Man), this workshop offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in authentic traditions. You will learn the philosophy and spiritual significance behind these instruments, engage in chanting and singing, practice drumming techniques, and explore harmonies to connect with the healing vibrations of the drum and flute.
